It has been fun doing the blog. When I started it back in June, almost 4 months ago, I did not know how it worked, what were the steps to make it dance. I did not even, I realized, have a tune for it. And then I started visiting other blogs, meeting some fantastic people, learning from everyone, and I think I found my stride. Actually in the end the blog found its stride, the puppet leading the puppeteer. But now I have to steer away from "routes touristiques", start up another road, and be away for a while. I dont know for how long, but I do know that I will miss you, and want to wish you all the very best.
It's a delight having you in blogland.
ReplyDeleteBon voyage! Already looking ahead to your return.
Querida Celeste.
ReplyDeleteCerteza tem as suas razoes por decidir este passo, mas gostaria que voce soubesse que vamos sentir a sua falta. Ate nos que nao conocemos de muito tempo, quanto mais as persoas quem conhecem desde principio.

Much success and creativity in Madrid! Do, do keep us posted as much as possible, xx

Dear Celeste,
ReplyDeleteAt the very last minute, as I am getting ready to step away from my blog before going on vacation tomorrow, I thought that I must visit you because I didn't find the time to answer your questions about chocolate. I am so glad that I did. I would have been very sad to return and see that you had disappeared! I have enjoyed meeting you so very, very much. I wish you the happiest of days ahead of you.
Catherine
And in answer to your questions - Dark chocolate. And the memory - always, always, my first cup of hot chocolate in a charming village in the mountains of Mexico.
I will miss you, Celeste, I was getting used to your good vibrations...fare well, my friend.
ReplyDeleteDearest Maia, I shall miss you, your blog and your comments more than you will know. I sincerely hope your absence will be a short one, not caused by unpleasantness, but due to a happy and productive period.

ReplyDeleteCeleste,
ReplyDeleteWe all wear masks - the one you wear holding that magnificent ball of self effulgent light, in the moonlight, is particularly fitting!
You are like a magician, with your paintings and writings, creating amazing and fascinating worlds to share with us all.
May the ball of light you are holding bring joy and healing and inspiration to you and may it continue to illumine the extraordinary potential you keep discovering.
You are the most wonderful Being, a great artist and writer and the best friend anyone could have!
I love you and respect you and admire you and enjoy you immensely.
You are indeed a light in my life!

ReplyDeleteI don't think I realized what you meant when I first read your post, thinking you would just be away a short while. I was in too much of a hurry to really hear your words. And now I've missed you and come back to reread it. Now I just feel sad.
ReplyDeleteJust to let you know that you are in our prayers. Please take a moment to update and let us know how you are. Hugs....
ReplyDeleteI also didn't realise you were going away for more than a couple of days! Oh dear, I shall miss you.

ReplyDeleteHi and Bye Maia
ReplyDeleteThese paintings inspire me. Excellent form and finish, but mostly a strong energy of life that glows from their interiors.
I will miss you a lot. I appreciated your tales from all corners. It was like getting a free, expenses-paid vacation every few weeks. I like your gentle and respectful take on the world.
Finally, and totally from the ego, I loved your insightful comments on my drawings. You were able to see beyond the cute story.
Beautiful work Celeste! I've just found your blog and loved it. I'm your newest follower!

Um beijo

ReplyDeleteWhat NASA calls a "Super Harvest Moon" is a “360-degree, summer-autumn twilight glow that is only seen on rare occasions.”
At the exact moment of the autumn equinox, which occurs at 11:09 p.m. EST, the Harvest Moon will be paired with Jupiter, which will be the second brightest object in the sky tonight.
Into the Moonlight, we will go... Love to you.
Excuse this late wish, but as you might have seen, things weren't the easiest over here lately.
ReplyDeletePlease have a wonderful weekend.
