Oil on paper

It has been fun doing the blog. When I started it back in June, almost 4 months ago, I did not know how it worked, what were the steps to make it dance. I did not even, I realized, have a tune for it. And then I started visiting other blogs, meeting some fantastic people, learning from everyone, and I think I found my stride. Actually in the end the blog found its stride, the puppet leading the puppeteer. But now I have to steer away from "routes touristiques", start up another road, and be away for a while. I dont know for how long, but I do know that I will miss you, and want to wish you all the very best.

  5. I will miss you, too, Celeste. Enjoy your time with your art. I look forward to your return to your blog. I understand that the blog takes time away from the art. Your words are as beautiful as your paintings. I love the painting that you posted today.

    P. S. Please take time to see Julie and Julia. You will not be disappointed. Also, her memoir is wonderful.

Again I will miss you and hope you start blogging soon again.

So I'm so glad you fond me in blogland. Your insight and empathy has had a way of appearing when I most needed to feel understood - and I truly appreciate that!

Much success and creativity in Madrid! Do, do keep us posted as much as possible, xx

At the very last minute, as I am getting ready to step away from my blog before going on vacation tomorrow, I thought that I must visit you because I didn't find the time to answer your questions about chocolate. I am so glad that I did. I would have been very sad to return and see that you had disappeared! I have enjoyed meeting you so very, very much. I wish you the happiest of days ahead of you.

  50. Celeste,
We all wear masks - the one you wear holding that magnificent ball of self effulgent light, in the moonlight, is particularly fitting!
You are like a magician, with your paintings and writings, creating amazing and fascinating worlds to share with us all.
May the ball of light you are holding bring joy and healing and inspiration to you and may it continue to illumine the extraordinary potential you keep discovering.
You are the most wonderful Being, a great artist and writer and the best friend anyone could have!
I love you and respect you and admire you and enjoy you immensely.
You are indeed a light in my life!
May that light you are holding keep nurturing you and bringing energy and joy.
Maybe the blog will call you to return.... to share more with all of us who have enjoyed it so much!!!
Fare thee well, my wonderful friend.
